Summary

  • Documents that Account-based round robin ownership lookups now use the full account resolution waterfall (normalized + fuzzy matching) as a fallback when the initial lookup returns no results
  • Clarifies that the free email domain guard now correctly applies to Account-based ownership lookups
  • Updates fuzzy matching scope notes to include Account-based round robin ownership lookups

What shipped

When "skip round robin if attendee has an owner" is set to search by Account, Cal.com now falls back to normalized website matching and cross-TLD fuzzy matching if the initial lookup finds no results. This means attendees with regional email domains (e.g. user@acme.co.uk) are correctly matched to account owners even when the account website is acme.com. Free email domains (e.g. gmail.com) are also now properly skipped on this path.
